Asaya Japanese Food in Culver City, CA.

Well i was going to post this on the joint thing.. but since it's not an actual review, I'll leave that for Sean... I was hoping to find something more complete, but after doing a blogger search and then googling it.. I found this CITYSEARCH REVIEW with a 8.5 rating.. (which I've come to notice is also the default score for many things including apartment complexes and rental companies with NO REVIEWS on the citysearch site.

The take out menu Sean brought home for me indeed has a cute little cartoon cat head drawn on the front of the menu and Sean was saying that there are a lot of pictures of cats in the place. Because it's Lent, Sean & I aren't eating meat this year at all so he wasn't able to try any of the non-veggie items. He said he liked the vegetable plate (which included veggie tempura and sukiyaki). It's very reasonably priced so it seems like a place I might want to go to as well.

I'm at the point where I don't feel the need to eat meat, and maybe.. just maybe I may increase my non-meat eating beyond the at home thing. (being on weight watchers and shopping mostly vegetarian for at home food anyway, it's not a huge leap). I can't give up the In N Out (which I've avoided even for the grilled cheese this time around!) and there's at least 3 or 4 new places I want to try that indeed serve meat as a main entree. What you going to do?? =)

This isn't my Main Journal =)

While you won't find my personal musings here, (those are for my LIVE JOURNAL) I joined blogger to post on other folks' blogs and to be able to have a place to work on trip reports and food reviews... and the search for the perfect home. =) Whether it's back home in the Bay Area (Berkeley) or down here in the LA area.. whatever works.
